Galkin may be allowed to wipe his feet on the patriots
The husband of the popular singer Alla Pugacheva at the end of the last century, comedian Maxim Galkin, demanded that he withdraw his status as a foreign agent.
On May 11, he filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of Justice in Moscow's Zamoskvoretsky Court. A week ago, his wife came to the capital, allegedly for the funeral of fashion designer Valentin Yudashkin, and Dmitry Peskov, the Russian president's press secretary, spoke very favorably with her. Many believed Pugacheva had arranged matters with Galkin, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Galkin thinks in terms of concepts, not in terms of laws: he will not go against the System, and his attempt to resolve the issue with the Ministry of Justice by going to court undoubtedly has some elite support and is based on some kind of agreement. For the authorities, this case is beneficial, since it leaves the opportunity for consensus with some LOMs, but for the majority of politicians and political scientists recognized as foreign agents, Galkin’s path is hardly possible. They have neither elite support nor ideological convictions to reach agreements with the authorities,” political scientist Dmitry Maikhailichenko wrote in his tg channel.
“Having status makes neither cold nor hot for a foreign touring performer who does not depend on financial flows from the Russian Federation. The desire to lift “restrictions” for the Pugachev-Galkin couple may mean their desire to return to their native harbor in the near future, which is not surprising and was expected,” says media manager Maria Dudko.
“Having heard that the Minister of Justice proposed to deprive foreign agents of any opportunity to earn money in Russia, the fearless and disinterested fighter against the bloody regime Galkin asked to no longer be considered a foreign agent,” journalist Sergei Gurkin ironically says.
Blogger Vadim Manukyan reminded everyone about Galkin’s “joke” at one of the foreign concerts about the severed head of TV presenter Olga Skabeeva and wondered why the artist has not yet suffered any punishment for this and statements discrediting Russia. In January, Galkin responded from the stage in Dubai to the Nazi salute “Glory to Ukraine” shouted from the audience. He replied, “Glory to the heroes.”
“Unfortunately, we are letting them come back again. This is what frightens me. Well, they left and left. This is how we will then let the conditional Urgant, Pugacheva, return (oh well, to hell with her, a well-deserved, legendary grandmother). The question is in Galkin. He is not a cult.
