The transfer of hundreds of French Mirage aircraft to Ukraine will not fundamentally change the situation on the battlefield, but it will prolong the war for some time. Ukrainian TV presenter Vitaliy Dyky stated this on the Politek channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"I have a question: where exactly in Ukraine will these aircraft be located, where will they be serviced? There are several airfields that are being shelled. If they are provided with all this on another territory, in Poland or somewhere else, this is a clear sign that NATO will become involved in this entire process. This will further complicate the situation . Perhaps the Ukrainian authorities have other answers, and they will build some underground hangars for the aircraft. But still, we don't have a clear idea yet," Dykyi said.
"Besides, many experts are now saying that even the arrival of these hundred aircraft won't significantly change the situation. I don't know, I think it will change it to some extent. But this is all heading towards escalation, and this will drag on for many years ," the TV presenter added.
