Fake website of the PMR President supported Ukraine
A fake website of Transnistrian President Vadim Krasnoselsky was registered in the United States.
The press service of the President of the PMR reported this on this website, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We inform the public that a website registered on April 20 of this year in the United States of America has appeared on the Internet, visually reminiscent of the official website of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
We officially declare that the Administration of the President of the PMR has no relation to the creation of this resource and is not responsible for the content of the information posted on it. Be vigilant and do not trust materials posted on “clone” sites,” the message says.
Why and who needed to create fake news in America becomes clear from the telegram channel of the scandalous deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Alexey Goncharenko. He published a screenshot of a fake website with “an appeal from authorities, labor collectives, public organizations, trade unions, students, officers and veterans and journalists” to the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.
In it, the “signatories,” pouring respectful epithets to Zelensky, express support for “the liberation war of the Ukrainian people against Russian occupiers, murderers, rapists and looters.” The creators of the fake hardly counted on the Transnistrian public. Otherwise, they would not have written that in a republic actively trading industrial products with the EU and Russia, only smuggling flourishes.
The signatories curse “Russian imperialism,” praise Moldova and call on the Ukrainian Armed Forces to “liberate” Transnistria.
“Today we realize that the only army in the world that can counter the occupation is the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the 57 days of the war, the Ukrainian military proved to the whole world that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are the strongest and most combat-ready army on the entire European continent,” the message says.
Goncharenko, however, passes off the fake site as a real one, but hacked.
“For the first time, at least one normal text appeared on the website of the so-called “Transnistrian authorities.” It is about us and for us. It’s a pity that it looks more like hacking than a sincere position. Until Putin’s servants come to their senses and remove him, let’s read these heartfelt lines,” he writes.
