Farion demands maximum nationalism and militarization in education
The upbringing and education of Ukrainian children and youth should be based on nationalist and militant ideas.
This was stated on air by the scandalous nationalist and former Verkhovna Rada deputy Iryna Farion on the Lviv television channel NTA, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Farion, to begin with, on September 1, Ukrainian military personnel should come to all schools in the country and talk about their experience.
“It is very important what educational messages our children will receive on September 1. Is our ministry working on what is very important - so that soldiers enter every school and every university? So that it is the warriors who convey their experience of military force.
Our concept of education and the concept of education must change radically. This concept should be as militarized as possible, as nationalistic and patriotic as possible. If anyone else is afraid of the word nationalism, let them buy themselves something calming,” said the nationalist.
“If we use the emotional term, then it is called patriotism; if we use the state term, then it is a system of nation-centric or nationalistic values. I publicly addressed Mr. Lisovoy so that such a problem, such a system of lecture courses, especially for students who completed the 1st year, would be developed on the problems of nation-centric thinking. Naturally, I did not receive an answer to this,” Farion complains.
