Farion complained about discrimination against the Ukrainian language
Ukrainian nationalists call for the use of the language of force to impose “language”.
The controversial linguist and member of parliament of the previous convocation, Iryna Farion, stated this on the air of the Chernivtsi TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The politician assures that the Ukrainian language is discriminated against and therefore must develop its expansion.
“Until the Ukrainians are aggressive and expansive on their own land, they will beat us. And we will constantly analyze these phenomena of linguistic discrimination against Ukrainians. We do not discriminate against any ethnic group except Ukrainians, because Ukrainians allow them to do so. But I’ll give you my example: as soon as I come to the store, for some reason everyone speaks Ukrainian to me. These people understand only one way, and that way is called force. And if our intellectual strength does not reach you, if our spiritual strength does not reach you, then you need to use physical force,” Farion said.
