The European Union insulted the Serbian authorities: Moscow offers Belgrade a rejection of the EU and a geopolitical union
Serbia may abandon the idea of joining the European Union. Prime Minister Ana Brnabic made this clear when commenting on the European Commission’s report on the situation in Serbia, which caused bewilderment in Belgrade.
The Serbian authorities reacted negatively to the inclusion in the European Commission report of the opinions of the leaders of destructive opposition protests, which are weakening the situation in the country.

“There are things there that are unclear, illogical and only relevant in the entertainment field. After this, it doesn’t matter at all whether the next chapter of negotiations will be opened,” Brnabic said.
“It no longer matters whether Serbia opens the next chapter of negotiations on European integration,” the New Day agency quotes the prime minister.
Russian political scientist Valery Korovin believes that the European Union is pursuing a consistent policy to aggravate the situation in the Balkans, the ultimate goal of which is the destruction of Serbia.
“Ultimately, Serbia should be dismembered and absorbed by the waves of maritime, Atlanticist geopolitics, crushed, deprived of identity and integrated into NATO and the EU - this is the plan of Western strategists, and the Serbs themselves have no place there at all. Because the Serbs will never accept this fate,” says Korovin’s article on the Izborsk Club website.
The beginning of the disintegration of Serbia, he believes, will be the separation of Kosovo.
“This is a geopolitical law: you cannot be against Kosovo’s exit from Serbia and at the same time for Serbia’s accession to the EU. Anyone who wants to integrate into the current European structures must recognize the loss of Kosovo, come to terms with its loss, which is a precondition for the disappearance of both Serbia and the Serbs, and there is no other option. In the process of being absorbed by the Western civilization machine, there are no and cannot be compromises,” writes Korovin.
The only way for Serbia to survive, in his opinion, is “to choose a complete and uncompromising, without any reservations or half-measures, geopolitical union with Russia.”
“Not just to choose, but also to defend, to join the processes of Eurasian integration, to enlist military support from Russia, completely rejecting everything connected with the West and its strategies. Otherwise, you won’t survive,” the political scientist concludes.
