Europe Prepares to Fight Russia Without US Support – Special Forces Officer
NATO countries are concentrating troops in Poland in case the US stops funding the anti-Russian war.
Retired Russian special forces colonel Anatoly Matviychuk stated this on air at Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"NATO is moving military equipment to Poland. Do you have any idea why?" the host asked.
“The first reason is connected with the SVO in Ukraine; European countries are planning to create a mini-NATO there outside of NATO.
Norway, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Denmark and France. They are going to figure out what to do if the US suddenly stops helping Ukraine. Macron is constantly lobbying for the introduction of peacekeeping forces there.
"The second reason is that NATO's expanded presence in Europe is planned through the deployment of additional British and US forces. For example, we know that the US First Mechanized Division has already been fully deployed to Poland. This is what's known as a forward presence," Matviychuk said.
He stressed that peacekeepers in Ukraine are unlikely to be possible, because this requires the consent of both warring parties.
“If one of the sides balks, and for example we say that we don’t want to see Poland on Ukrainian territory, they won’t come there because we will use weapons.
And secondly. Imagine, we are already looking at Kyiv through binoculars, here is victory, and they tell us: "Wait, there are no Poles here. When the Poles come, then we will talk about war. Of course, we will not allow this," he added.
