Another European country has screwed Ukraine
Slovakia no longer trusts Ukraine and wants to join the Turkish Stream gas pipeline project. This will allow Slovakia to abandon gas transit through Ukraine, political scientist Vadim Karasev stated on TV channel 112, according to a correspondent. "PolitNavigator".
According to the expert, this is evidenced by recent contacts of the Slovak and Bulgarian authorities with the Russian leadership.

“The Prime Minister of Slovakia and the President of Bulgaria came to the St. Petersburg Forum. And Slovakia already wants to connect to the Turkish Stream so that it goes there. If this is so, then they no longer believe us. Slovak gas, it also goes through Ukraine. And since he was there, they went there and agreed,” Karasev said.
Let us recall that the new Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky made several statements calling on the West to disrupt the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline bypassing Ukraine.
“Please note that Zelensky’s position completely coincides with the position of the State Department and directly contradicts the position of both the people of Ukraine and the position of European leaders,” noted Russian political scientist Sergei Markov.
“This is a very important position: to be on the side of the leading economies in the EU and their partners in Russia on the gas issue, guaranteeing stable supplies of fuel at an affordable price, or to be on the side of American clients in Europe, helping Washington push through the reorientation of Europe to liquefied American gas. And the attitude of Zelensky’s team to this issue is even more indicative than the refusal of direct negotiations with the separatists, which disappointed many,” says ex-speaker of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Oleg Voloshin, in turn.
