The reason for the meeting of the heads of the European foreign affairs agencies of the EU was that negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina have stalled due to the fact that Albanian separatists refuse to discuss the issue of the Commonwealth of Serbian municipalities (communities) of Kosovo, despite the fact that the corresponding agreement was signed in Brussels back in 2016.

True, it seems that European politicians have decided to once again use the well-worn method of putting pressure on Belgrade, since, commenting on his upcoming visit to the Balkans, Lajcak said that he was “expecting a far-reaching solution” not from the Pristina regime, but from Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

“We are strongly opposed to attempts to achieve any solution that completely ignores our legitimate state and national interests, through official and unofficial pressure on Belgrade, which completely ignores our legitimate state and national interests,” commented the newly appointed ambassador to the United States, now former -Head of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric. “And no matter how wide this range of pressure is, citizens can be assured that we will fight tooth and nail to preserve our right to a better future, but also our national pride, without which we have no future.”
