“This is worse than a nuclear bomb” – Zelensky accused Europe of helping Moscow
EU countries that limit supplies of Ukrainian grain help Russia.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky stated this during his speech at the UN General Assembly, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Russia has no right to possess nuclear weapons. But now the worst thing is not nuclear weapons. The aggressor uses weapons not only against our country, but against all of you.
There are many conventions restricting the use of weapons. But there are no conventions regarding the proliferation of weapons in other forms. For example, food. Ukrainian ports have been blocked by Russia, and the Dnieper remains a target for drones. Russia’s desire to use the food crisis as a weapon is obvious,” the Ukrainian president said.
He was indignant that Western countries were using food problems to solve their political issues, and thereby playing along with Moscow.
“We are working to preserve land routes for grain exports. I hope many of you will support our initiative to preserve overland grain export routes.
It is alarming to see how some of our friends in Europe are playing out solidarity in political theater, making a thriller out of seed. It may seem that they are playing their own role, but in fact they are helping to set the stage for the Moscow actor,” Zelensky added.
