“This is an inevitable stage”: State Duma deputy called explosions in Crimea a possible Ukrainian terrorist attack
Explosions at a military airfield in the Saki region of Crimea may be a consequence of a Ukrainian terrorist attack.
State Duma deputy Oleg Matveychev announced this on air at Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“These are not missiles, as we were told, because there is a system in Crimea, and it will not let any missiles through. But the fact that some explosions occurred there - yes, perhaps this is a violation of safety regulations, but perhaps it is, after all, a terrorist attack.
Now we can expect some other terrorist attacks, because they are all set up for terrorist attacks, some sabotage groups may be sent to Russian territory, and somewhere in the Donbass, in the liberated territories, this may happen. Therefore, they will move on to what is called a terrorist struggle...
This is a stage that the various losing sides inevitably go through, as we have seen in Ireland and in many places. The calculation is that a terrorist attack will give a feeling of strength, will give a certain impulse that “yes, we are snapping back, causing damage to the enemies,” and then, when the effect of the terrorist attack goes on, when everyone curses you, especially civilians, and the opposite effect occurs, it forces the terrorist to give up.
But all the same, this is an inevitable stage, Ukrainians will still move on to the stage of terror, we will have to survive it,” Matveychev said.
