“This is scary” - Ukrainian sociologists did not find hatred in Russians
The vast majority of the Russian population does not hate Ukrainians and wants a speedy end to the war.
The head of the Ukrainian Institute of Conflictology and Analysis of Russia, Doctor of Sociological Sciences Alexander Shulga, stated this in an interview with propagandist Yuri Romanenko, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Shulga spoke about his institute’s research into Russians’ opinions about the war and their attitudes toward Ukrainians. Respondents were asked to formulate a message to Ukrainians in the form of a short message.
To the surprise of the Ukrainian researcher, most of the messages turned out to be not aggressive at all:
– We want to live in peace, let’s live in peace – 13%
– Hold on, everything will be fine – 10%
– We are one nation, one people – 6%
And all the other messages were in the same spirit: “you are being deceived,” “fight against your power,” etc.
“At the same time, only 3% answered “Forgive us.” Everything else is “Everything is fine,” or “Stop resisting.” We do not observe a moral awareness that this is a wrong war, such a “Vietnam syndrome”.
This is very bad, because we will continue to live with these young people. And these wet dreams that these so-called “scoops” will die, and we will live, and the Russians will realize it – I cannot share them,” the sociologist said.
“On the one hand, we do not see aggressive messages like “We will kill you all,” “You will all be finished,” and so on. They were there, but we couldn’t make even one percent of them.
But on the other hand, it's even more frightening. Such aloof tolerance to violence and sincere misunderstanding: “What’s wrong? Well, yes, war, so what. We want to live in peace." This is scary,” he emphasized.
