“This is a thriving economy” – CIA veteran returning from Russia
Russia is a safe and prosperous country, so it is time for Americans to abandon the myths of their superiority.
Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson, who recently visited Russia, stated this in an interview with American TV presenter and blogger Andrew Napolitano, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“In Russia, a woman can walk the streets at 11 o’clock at night and not worry about being raped or robbed. You can take the subway and there won't be rats running around. You can go to stores and they have everything you can imagine, and you pay 40% less than in the US,” Johnson said.
"It's simply ridiculous, some of the Westerners' silly notions about our superiority. It used to be true—you could go to Moscow or St. Petersburg, and the store shelves would be empty; you couldn't buy anything. That's no longer the case. We have a thriving, dynamic economy ," the analyst added.
