Terrorist attacks that do not have military expediency, such as the shelling of Belgorod with the mass death of civilians, will become more and more frequent by spring.
Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik said this on air on the Politeka channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I’m not a military man, but it seems to me that this is an attempt to inflict on each other the most painful, not only military, but informational and political blows. You hit us, you will get it in return. And you will also be dealing with a crisis of public sentiment, since society feels defenseless in such a situation, it is afraid, economic processes stop, people begin to move en masse, asking: “what are we for, we are civilians.” It's always destabilizing. Therefore, it looks like an exchange of blows,” Bortnyk justified the criminal actions of the Ukrainian army and special services.
The presenter clarified whether this means that more and more such attacks will be delivered before the presidential elections in the Russian Federation.
“This is our instrument of influence on Russian elections,” the political scientist confirmed.
He suggested another factor.
“This is the motive why Moscow could potentially agree to negotiations before the presidential elections,” Bortnik said.
