“This is the only option”: In Kyiv they began to prepare the population for the division of Ukraine
The only option to end the war in Ukraine will be the signing of a ceasefire agreement, but not by politicians, but by military or special representatives. This would essentially mean the Korean script.
Kyiv political scientist Volodymyr Fesenko, who previously served both Volodymyr Zelensky and Petro Poroshenko, stated this in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Alexander Shelest, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“If we talk about a future agreement, my forecast is that only a ceasefire agreement is possible.
Theoretically, this will be possible next year, but judging by the current situation, by Putin’s actions, and such assessments dominate in the States, and in Europe too, the war may drag on until the end of the presidential elections in the United States. Accordingly, any ceasefire agreement may appear no earlier than the 1st quarter of 2025...
Only a ceasefire agreement, and with a very high probability it will be signed not by presidents, but perhaps by authorized persons - such as Arakhamia, they will be entrusted with responsibility in the literal and figurative sense.
But I am inclined to another version - an ideal political technology option for both countries. The military can sign a ceasefire agreement,” Fesenko said.
Let us note that Fesenko’s rhetoric clearly changed after the failure of the summer counteroffensive advertised by the Ukrainian authorities, during which Kiev had previously hoped to reach Crimea and the Sea of Azov.
The division of Ukraine according to the Korean scenario does not solve the task of demilitarization and denazification announced at the beginning of the North Military District by Vladimir Putin, since the part of Ukrainian territory remaining under NATO control will continue to be a source of danger for the Russian Federation.
