“The Pentagon’s experiment on the Armed Forces of Ukraine failed” – Kiev military expert
The Ukrainian military has failed to get NATO to provide the weapons needed for a successful counteroffensive and has failed to understand the Pentagon's tactics.
Military expert Oleg Starikov spoke about this in an interview with Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He described how, in his opinion, preparations for the counter-offensive should have been carried out.
“The chief of staff reports. The commander turns to the chief of finance and says: how fast? He says: we don’t have enough resources. Phone to the Pentagon: Comrade Pentagon, we lack such a resource. Those: they say: there is no resource. What should we do? Well, let’s think about how to simplify this task,” said Starikov.
In his opinion, before the start of the “counter-offensive”, the political leadership of Ukraine did not even study the explanatory note of the military. And NATO experimented with the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“The Secretary of Defense must work with Ramstein. If they do not give something, he must report to the bet, and the bet must make a decision. I have already said that they are allegedly experimenting on us to see whether it is possible to solve problems using high-precision weapons without military aviation. This is “Blue Sky” and some kind of “shore”. That's what they call it somehow. We’re not used to this yet,” Starikov said.
