The ex-deputy head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine admitted large-scale crimes of Ukrainian units in the Donbass
The so-called volunteer battalions that fought in Donbass actively robbed the local population, opening garages and stealing cars.
This was stated on the NewsOne television channel by former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Dumansky, a participant in the battles near Ilovaisk, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“When we took Ilovaisk, we returned after the operation had been completed, having set up appropriate checkpoints near Ilovaisk with the 40th battalion. People stop me at an intersection near Kutelnikovo and say: “Go and see what your servicemen left behind. I understand that they were not military personnel, because there were units of other formations there.
There was an elevator there. A modern, new elevator, which is all in pieces - everything is broken, everything is looted. There are garages nearby, a line of private sector garages - all opened. Half the cars were taken. What can be explained to these people, those citizens who are there? This is a real case, I know what I’m talking about,” Dumansky emphasized
