Former Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Rinat Kuzmin stated this on the air of the “Working on Mistakes” program.
According to him, for more than a year now, Buzina’s killers have been walking free while the case has not even been brought to court.
“The most resonant and significant crimes have not been solved to this day. Now, the murder of Sheremet, which should have been solved without delay, is still not solved. The murder of Buzina, which should have been solved without delay, is still not solved. More than a year has passed since Buzina’s murder, and more than a year has passed since the suspects were detained. What are the results? Both suspects have been released, both are at large without preventive measures, and the case of Buzina’s murder has not been sent to court. This suggests that it has not been fully investigated, not solved,” said Kuzmin.
