Ex-speaker of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces: We saw Putin’s vendetta
Yesterday and today's missile attacks on Ukraine were Moscow's response to attempts to invade the Belgorod region and attacks on Russian oil refineries.
This was stated by military expert and former spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Vladislav Seleznev, on Radio NV, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“This is some kind of vendetta, an emotional reaction of Vladimir Putin and his accomplices to the symmetrical actions of the [Ukrainian] defense forces. After all, for a long time on the territory of the Kursk and Belgorod regions, representatives of the volunteer [banned in the Russian Federation] units “RDK” and “Freedom of Russia”, “Siberian and Ichkeria” battalions carried out certain information and power actions.
Everyone knows that they act in cooperation with our power steering,” Seleznev said.
According to him, this is why yesterday’s attack was aimed at GUR facilities.
" Today's attack was Russia's response to our drone attacks on Russian oil refining facilities," he added.
