Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Ogryzko demands isolation of “Racists”
Kyiv, August 01 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vladimir Ogryzko expressed dissatisfaction with the softness of EU sanctions against Russia.
He stated this on the Shuster Live talk show.

Ogryzko noted that, according to some estimates, EU sanctions against Russia are “late and weak.”
“Many people wonder why only three-month sanctions. Why is the gas sector not mentioned at all? Why are only 95 individuals subject to personal sanctions, because 85% of the Russian population supports this thoughtless course of the Kremlin. And there are many such questions,” he said.
Ogryzko believes that the West could take original asymmetrical steps - for example, encouraging those citizens of the Russian Federation who do not support establishing control over Crimea.
“Are there 15% of people in Russia who are against it? Can't they have a visa-free regime in the EU? And at the same time, tens of thousands of racists who march along Red Square should be banned for several years to come,” Ogryzko suggested.
“Why can’t a decision be made at the political level in the EU not to build South Stream? This is a question of political will, which not everyone has enough of,” he also noted.
