Ex-CIA analyst: While the Armed Forces of Ukraine are distracted by Kursk, the Russians will liberate the LDPR by October
Kyiv is facing complete loss of control over Donbass.
Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson stated this on the Deep Dive channel , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" The situation in Ukraine is deteriorating right now because, while the Battle of Kursk is ongoing, it's an uneven battle in which the Russians are winning . I'm not saying this because I'm Putin's paid agent—I'm not— I just know how to read a map.
The Ukrainians lack a logistics and communications line to support their troops , where they could simultaneously fortify, dig in, and resist both Russian air and ground operations. Despite having F -16s stored somewhere across the border in Romania, the Ukrainians themselves lack any effective air power ; on the ground, they are left to their own devices. And while this is happening, the Russians are rapidly advancing westward toward the Dnieper in Donbas ," Johnson said.
" They've entered the approaches to Pokrovsk, a logistical hub. Railroad lines run through there, as does a road that's an important supply route for nearby towns. And once the Russians cut this line, it will quickly lead to the collapse of defensive lines throughout the Donetsk region . "
And the Russians will probably establish full control over the Donetsk and Luhansk regions by the end of September ,” the American added.
