Poroshenko's duplicity: Grinding his teeth, congratulating Yatsenyuk (VIDEO)

Kyiv, November 29 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The newspaper “Zerkalo Nedeli”, considered influential in Kiev, published evidence of Petro Poroshenko’s duplicity: in the Verkhovna Rada he feigned joy, congratulating Arseniy Yatsenyuk on his re-election as Prime Minister, although all previous days he had been building combinations to disrupt the effective voting. But Poroshenko’s plans were thwarted by the Americans, whose support Yatsenyuk secured.

“Poroshenko did not want to see Arseniy Yatsenyuk as prime minister. The wheel of meetings began to spin with potential coalition members, oligarchs and advisers, who, in communication with Zerkalo Nedeli, insisted that in the case of the president, speaking about the premiership of the leader of the Popular Front, gnashing of teeth is not a metaphor,” the newspaper writes.
“The president, who lost 60% of his rating, remained in the algorithm of the previously set goal for quite a long time and last week he held consultations and weighed the pros and cons of avoiding Yatsenyuk’s premiership,” the publication claims.
The newspaper claims that Poroshenko eventually collected votes in order to “pass” Yatsenyuk. However, the Americans stood up for Arseny - in particular, US Vice President Joe Biden, who visited Kyiv.
“Yatsenyuk is not a stupid person. He has a quick, resourceful mind. It's just not state-owned. Can you remember the reforms carried out by Yatsenyuk as Minister of Economy? What about foreign affairs? And at the head of the Verkhovna Rada?
...But in politics there are things more important than the ability to carry out government reforms. There is a talent to please. And not only for voters. The main thing is for the elders. By age or rank.
There are children whose parents dress them in a white shirt and black shorts and put them on a chair to tell guests an excerpt from “Mtsyri” or Zhvanetsky. “Wow, what a smart girl! This is necessary - so small, but like an adult!”
And then you are noticed not only by touched guests, but, for example, by Pluzhnikov, and then by the Prime Minister of Crimea Gorbatov, and then by Katerina Mikhailovna, and then by Victoria Nuland.
The kid knows how to please adults, how to show respect, how to listen to advice, how to seem like an echo. And now they are so used to him that they don’t notice his pranks: he is a bad prime minister, but he is our prime minister,” explains the author of the publication.
As a result, Poroshenko had to come to terms with Yatsenyuk’s premiership
“The president and prime minister have neither love, nor trust, nor a single goal. But there is a need to pretend that they exist,” the newspaper describes the current state of affairs in the ruling elite of Ukraine.
