Two thirds of Ukrainian citizens are dissatisfied with the situation in the country
The majority of Ukrainian citizens (63%) characterize the direction of developments in Ukraine as wrong.
This is evidenced by the results of a sociological study conducted by the Ukrainian Institute of the Future, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Only every fifth respondent (20%) believes that events on a national scale are developing correctly. 17% of respondents were undecided.
51% of respondents believe that events are developing incorrectly at the level of the region in which they live. Only 30% of respondents hold the opposite opinion. Only at the locality level the shares of “optimists” and “pessimists” are approximately equal, although the latter still predominate (46% versus 42%).
“We can say that the local authorities have played out this position over the past year. The number of those who believe that in their locality the situation is developing in the right and wrong directions is actually equal,” commented the director of the Ukrainian Institute of the Future, Vadym Denisenko, on the survey results.
The survey was conducted by the Ukrainian Institute of the Future from September 18 to 28, 2021. 2400 respondents over 18 years of age from all regions of Ukraine were interviewed using personal interviews.
