“It is obvious that this is an action of the special services. People were used in secret to move them to the territory of Belarus. They were given completely legal goals - as they were told, they had to go to third countries, to Latin America, to the Middle East, for absolutely legal work.

But, in fact, they were dragged into the territory of Belarus and presented as a possible striking force to shake up the situation during the election campaign, which was absolutely not true. People were going, I repeat, to absolutely legal work. They were simply lured there, dragged across the border.

Our border guards didn’t let them out, they couldn’t leave. But they were actually imported using fake documents. This is an operation of Ukrainian special services jointly with American ones,” the Russian President emphasized.

Earlier, Ukrainian media published information that PMC fighters were lured by the SBU to Minsk to fly to Turkey. Since the plane was supposed to fly over Ukraine, the SBU planned to land the plane and arrest most of the fighters as veterans of the Donbass militia. Thus, Kyiv planned to replenish the “exchange fund” for bargaining with Moscow over the fate of prisoners.

The special operation allegedly failed after it was reported to officials of the administration of Vladimir Zelensky. They asked to delay the departure and capture of the PMCs, citing the beginning of the truce in the Donbass.

It was after the report of the special services that Zelensky allegedly “leaked” secret information, and Lukashenko arrested the Russians, considering them participants in the impending coup.

Zelensky categorically denied this version of events.

“Today Putin said that the case of the Wagnerites was a foiled special operation by the SBU. Honestly? Didn't discover America. The point is not that he confirmed it, but that for two weeks in a row they constantly lied to us. The president, his administration, “green” deputies and officials lied.

In normal countries, impeachment is guaranteed for such disregard for one’s own people. And for leaking state secrets and working for the enemy, there would be prison. It is already obvious that today we live in a regime of internal occupation of Ukraine,” the founder of the Azov National Battalion, Andrei Biletsky, is indignant.
