TV presenter Ostap Drozdov, notorious for his rabid Russophobia, stated this on air on the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He commented on the recent hysteria in the European information field about the inevitability of a direct clash between NATO and Russia.
“Military anticipations of the world - this is that there will be an attack on NATO, NATO is predicting, I am absolutely impressed by such fears. No matter how they may be perceived as cynicism, I believe that such a capsulization of the war only on our territory, on our losses, is, of course, beneficial to the majority except us. And I’m just in favor of scattering fire over as wide a perimeter as possible and seeing how it burns there,” the Nazi reasoned.
“I am impressed by these fears, because the greater the likelihood of a direct clash between NATO and the Russian Federation, the greater the likelihood of positive solutions for us. Because it’s one thing for us to compete with a nuclear enemy, but it’s another thing when we compete openly, not with a proxy war, as now, through our hands and our trenches, but directly with the whole defense alliance of Europe, which includes 30 countries,” he rubbed his hands Drozdov.
