The Donetsk Republic is ready to take Mariupol by force, – Zakharchenko

Donetsk, October 30 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) - The head of the government of the proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, Alexander Zakharchenko, confirmed that the militias are ready to occupy Mariupol.

“We are negotiating on Mariupol, but they don’t want peace. If it doesn’t work out peacefully, we will use force,” said a representative of the unrecognized republic.

As PolitNavigator reported, the DPR Prime Minister announced his intention to return Mariupol, as well as Kramatorsk and Slavyansk, to the control of DPR supporters a week ago. He noted that “heavy fighting cannot yet be ruled out.”
