Moscow political scientist Sergei Mikheev stated this at a meeting with the public and media in Simferopol.

Moreover, the subject of the Kerry-Lavrov negotiations was not even entirely Ukraine. Issues on the Middle East, Syria and many others were discussed there,” the expert noted.
