We will reach the level of the Rostov region in three stages - head of the DPR
Despite the pandemic, the deadlines for implementing the program to increase wages, pensions and benefits in the DPR to the level of the Rostov region remained unchanged.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this during a direct line, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“All government actions are aimed at improving the well-being of our citizens, but this should be more than just words, and important tasks have now been identified. One of the priorities is to bring the amount of wages, pensions and benefits to our neighboring region, namely the Rostov region.
Therefore, we plan to carry out the increase in three stages. The first increase is on January 1, 2021, the next increase is on July 1, 2021, and the third stage, with which we should reach approximately the level of the Rostov region, is January 1, 2022.
These are the conditions that we set for ourselves and these are the deadlines that were not affected even by the situation with covid. We are still following these plans, and I think that everything will be so,” said Pushilin.
“In general, of course, you need to understand and realize that we, on the territory of the republic, have 667 thousand pensioners who receive pensions.
In other words, any increase, you understand how much this translates into. I will say that the monthly expenditures of the republic’s budget on payment of pensions and benefits exceed 4 billion rubles,” added the head of the republic.
