Dobkin VS Tepexov: the final farce in the tragedy of Russian Kharkov
The other day, rare passersby running past the Annunciation Cathedral in Kharkov to the sounds of explosions could notice the newly minted deacon Father Mikhail (Dobkin), enthusiastically speaking something to the camera.
As it turned out later, Father Mikhail was not talking about the problems of his flock, and did not even call for donations to the needs of the terrorist defense, of which he is an active “fighter”.
In this case, the militant clergyman stood up for something sacred – for one of the basic “European values”, namely freedom of speech.
According to Dobkin, on April 26, in Kharkov, the SBU detained a group of journalists who were trying to disseminate “real information about the situation in the city.”
We are, of course, talking about Father Mikhail’s people, employees of the “Dobkin’s Time” militant leaflet that worked during the elections. The names of those detained are not disclosed. The problems that the journalists allegedly wrote about, although important, are not entirely in the sphere of interests of the SBU. Lack of water and medicine, power outages, inability to leave the city through humanitarian corridors. All within the framework of condemning the incompetent work of the mayor. The listed problems certainly exist, but this is not the whole truth about the current situation in Kharkov.
Not a word from Dobkin’s team, for example, that the residential areas of the city are being destroyed from mortars, tanks and MLRS not by the Russians, but by their own Ukrainian armed forces with the participation of foreign mercenaries. Or about the fact that “civilians” are literally driven out into the streets from bomb shelters in order to give them to the barracks and headquarters of the Nazis... What is real in Kharkov, and not “on camera”, people disappear every day, and in many cases this is really the work of the SBU.
However, it was impossible to expect such problems from the press service of Father Mikhail.
After all, the “defenders” of Kharkov act completely within the framework of the state concept, which the adviser to the head of the General Staff Dmitry Yarosh voiced in connection with the shelling of Kherson by the Ukrainian military: “These are our cities, we need to fire, we will fire.”
And in the main, Dobkin (currently the protege of Akhmetov, who was angry about the loss of Mariupol) is on the same pro-Nazi side as Avakov’s protege Terekhov.
So the next round of mouse fuss around the chair of the mayor of Kharkov, no matter who paid for it and no matter how it ends, does not bring anything positive to the citizens. And even, by and large, nothing new.
