Dnepropetrovsk: ATO participant spared money for a prostitute and brutally killed her, cutting off her hands and dismembering her body
Strange turns of human destinies can be seen in modern Ukraine. The plot of the Austrian writer Stefan Zweig in the short story “Letters from a Stranger” received a nightmare continuation. A poor girl, in love with a man who is older than her, secretly gives birth to his child. But in order to raise and educate him, she engages in prostitution. Seriously ill, she writes a letter of gratitude to her lover. But a young woman with a similar story found a completely different end at the end of March last year in Dnepropetrovsk.

The demobilized “atoshnik” used to come to Dnepropetrovsk two or three times a month from the village where he lived with his mother for food and entertainment. By entertainment he understood only the intimate services of girls of easy virtue, whose coordinates he found on the Internet. This was the case the last time. Having met one such priestess of love at her home, he suddenly, after satisfying his sexual needs, spared money for the girl. After which he began to slowly but purposefully kill her. First he beat me with his hands and feet, then he cut me with a knife.
At one point, the idea of dismembering the body seemed attractive to him. But after he, at the cost of enormous effort, cut off and broke off his hands, he suddenly realized that he would need much more time. Then he placed his hands next to the head of the bloody corpse, took off and threw away the rubber gloves he was “working on” and retreated.
The mother of the murdered woman was at a church service when the kindergarten teacher called and said that no one was coming for her granddaughter. The grandmother brought the child into the apartment and the girl, saying, “Mommy is probably taking a bath,” ran to the bathroom. Her mother was actually there. Or rather, her bloody corpse, mutilated beyond recognition and with cut off hands.
Needless to say, after the shock he suffered, the child found himself a patient of psychiatrists and psychologists for a long time. Her grandmother cannot recover from the experience either. She, as often happens, had no idea, unlike some neighbors, about the shameful nature of her daughter’s earnings. And most importantly, how and for what will she now treat her granddaughter?
The Amur-Nizhnodniprovsk District Court sentenced an ATO participant to fifteen years in prison and ordered him to pay one million hryvnias in moral damages to the injured party.
