For Ukraine and the EU, the murder of Fico was the last and only way out - Steshin
The assassination attempt on Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico is very beneficial for the leadership of the EU and Ukraine.
Military correspondent Dmitry Steshin stated this on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The attempt on Fico’s life is beneficial for Ukraine and beneficial for the EU. But Ukraine is perhaps the biggest beneficiary.
The fact is that a position, a generally accepted view on the Ukrainian-Russian conflict, is beginning to emerge among the EU bureaucracy. There are people who want to end it as quickly as possible – and stop quarrelling with Russia altogether. Fico, incidentally, was one of those who supported this. At the start of the Joint Military Operation, he said something along the lines of, "What else was Putin supposed to do with Nazi Ukraine?" Steshin said.
“He has a friend, Orban. Hungary, for a moment, is not the last country in the Eastern part of the European Union. He too, we know what views he holds. Someone else might dock there.
In general, as we know, the European Union does not have any other ways to put pressure on or change the policy of Slovakia or Hungary. It is very convenient for both Ukrainians and the European Union to engage in political murder. “Strange as it may seem,” the military correspondent emphasized.
