The hour of reckoning has come for Europe for its desire to be friends with Russia.
Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Volodymyr Ohryzko stated this on the Lviv NTA television channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Ogryzko, Europe is also responsible for the fact that Ukraine is currently at war with Russia.
“Europe has responded and is now paying the price for its irresponsible policies over the past 20 years. I absolutely support this idea and I also tell our Western partners about it that now the time has come when you will pay,” the diplomat said.
“But we pay in blood, unfortunately, and in the thousands of dead our heroic sons and daughters, and they pay in billions, and will pay even more, because it has finally dawned on them that playing this realpolitik game will mean that very soon a Russian wild beast will appear on their borders, which will destroy, rob, rape, and so on,” Ogryzko said.
