“Now your point of view can become a reason for reprisals against you... Our company pursued a line of critical reflection on the so-called euro integration choice of Ukraine. She proved with numbers and facts that for Ukraine this is a disastrous idea, practically equating to suicide,” he said.
“There is already a lawsuit in court that we were engaged in anti-state activities, that we are bad, that we did not correctly cover the events on the Maidan, and we need to be closed in the spirit of modern Ukrainian democracy,” Selivanov added.
The channel’s new director, Yulia Nikandrova, is not going to defend her predecessor and has already announced her readiness to cooperate with the Prosecutor General’s Office. “I am open to dialogue and ready to provide all necessary materials, if required,” she announced.
“Presumably he went to Russia,” Nikandrova said of Selivanov.
