Information has appeared in the American press that the United States will build a plant in Australia for the production of missiles for Highmars with the aim of supplying them to Ukraine, and this is a logical move, since in the EU countries such as Hungary will make it as difficult as possible or will not allow the deployment of such production.
Ukrainian TV presenter Vitaly Diky stated this on the Politeka channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, information appeared in the American press that the United States would build a plant in Australia to produce missiles for Highmars with the aim of supplying them to Ukraine.
"On the one hand, it sounds like a joke, but on the other, couldn't they find a safe place in Europe to build a plant somewhere closer to Ukraine?" the channel's host asked.
“Of course it wasn’t found! The fact is that Europeans will perceive these initiatives as an opportunity to come under some kind of political blow. Accordingly, they are still afraid of their shadow, because the EU is such a structure that the topic will be discussed by European officials, and they do not want one of the countries to actively show its participation in the Ukrainian issue even in this way.
As for Australia, it leads an independent life, an independent policy, it can afford it, moreover, Australia has always supported Ukraine, even donated military assistance in very significant quantities,” Diky said.
