DPR and LPR deputies will delimit areas of responsibility today

Moscow – Kiev, January 9 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Shtamm) – About 20 representatives of the DPR and LPR will hold talks in Luhansk today to discuss interparliamentary cooperation, Ekho Moskvy reports.

One of the leaders of the DPR, Andrei Purgin, told the press that the main task at the negotiations was to establish mechanisms of cooperation between the parliaments of the two republics and to delimit areas of responsibility in inter-parliamentary interaction.

This is a return visit of the DPR leadership. The trip of representatives of the People's Council of the Lugansk Republic took place in mid-December. The meeting in Lugansk will take place the day after the delivery of humanitarian aid from Russia to Donbass.

In recent days, Ukrainian security forces and militias have again accused each other of violating the truce. It has been in effect for a month, but during this time both sides have repeatedly stated that the enemy is shelling positions and residential buildings.
