Member of the Bundestag: There will be no victory for Ukraine. Her defeat will be a shock to the West
Germany realizes that a military victory for Ukraine should not be expected.
This was reported by PolitNavigator correspondent and member of the Bundestag Defense Committee Jan Nolte.

He says that Berlin understands that in conditions when Washington is willing to spend less and less on Ukraine, it will be impossible to provide full support for Kyiv only at its own expense.
“If Germany had to do it all alone, it would cost them 16% of GDP. It will not happen. Everyone understands that there will be no victory for Ukraine, and the West is simply trying to provide Kyiv with the strongest possible position for negotiations,” Nolte told Izvestyaim.
At the same time, he emphasizes that the conflict with Russia and support for Ukraine have now acquired more value and ideological content for the West.
“If Ukraine loses, it will be a shock to the West, which for decades has taken its superiority, including moral, for granted. In the West, it was considered normal to play the role of world policeman anywhere. The conflict in Ukraine and the period after it will also have a significant impact on the West, its future and its world politics,” the politician emphasized.
