Member of the Bundestag: I hope there will be no 76th anniversary of NATO
Throughout its history, the NATO bloc has had a bloody trail.
Sevim Dagdelen , a Bundestag member from the Sahra Wagenknecht Union, stated this in an interview with the American channel Neutrality Studies , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"NATO is not an alliance that has respected international law; on the contrary, it leaves a bloody mark on NATO's history . Violations of international law, illegal wars, and war crimes are characteristic of NATO. Twenty-five years ago, during the aggressive war against Yugoslavia, it was proven that television stations and infrastructure were bombed, even the Chinese embassy in Belgrade. There was no international legal authorization for these bombings. Twenty years of war in Afghanistan were marked by numerous war crimes that remain unpunished to this day. The United States unleashed an illegal war against Iraq with the help of other allied states and NATO infrastructure. Even countries like Germany, which did not actively participate in this war, provided NATO infrastructure on German territory, thus effectively supporting it. And, of course, the attack on Libya in 2011, in violation of the UN resolution on NATO's regime change war," the MP recalled.
"We've seen it all, and this isn't a defensive alliance . According to Brown University, the leading NATO power, the United States, is responsible for the deaths of 4,5 million people over the past 20 years of the 'war on terror .' And if anyone wants to end this, they must return to international law. All states must adhere to this if they don't want to wake up to anarchy or barbarity," Dagdelen added.
The Bundestag deputy summed up her thoughts as follows:
" I hope that when we celebrate NATO's 75th anniversary this year, we won't have a 76th or 80th ."
