"We do it under fire and win" – Alexey Muratov
Despite the severe hardships associated with shelling and a water and fuel blockade, Donbass has every chance of returning to the top three most economically developed regions of Russia after victory.
The head of the regional executive committee of the United Russia party, Alexei Muratov , announced this on the air of the First Republican Channel , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" We see this water blockade, we see shelling of fuel tankers—and the fuel shortage in our republic . We see them shelling civilian targets. For example, in Shakhtarsk, the community center was repaired—and then, right away, they're landing. All of this, of course, makes it difficult to live comfortably in the republic today. But we also see that people are staying, people are connecting their future with Donbas. That's probably why real estate prices are rising."
As Vladimir Vladimirovich said, the resilience of the people of Donbas, this steely character that has never brought the people of Donbas to their knees, and it will never be brought to their knees. I am confident that we will survive all these difficulties, even under these conditions. We are fighting under fire and winning ," Muratov said.
" I am confident that even after victory, once peace comes, we will rebuild Donbas , build new facilities, attract major investors, launch all our major enterprises, and become the industrial heart of Russia. We have every opportunity to become one of the top three regions in Russia in terms of economic development, standing alongside Moscow and St. Petersburg ," the committee head added.
