Even 200 Tauruses Won't Help Defeat Russia – Kyiv Expert
Transferring even a few hundred German Taurus missiles to Ukraine will not change the course of the war.
Political scientist Andrei Zolotarev stated this on the air of the “Black Swan” channel, as reported by a correspondent for “PolitNavigator”.
“How far will it be possible to reach an agreement with Germany about the Tauruses?” the presenter asked.
"Taurus is not a wunderwaffe, some kind of miracle weapon. Yes, these are effective cruise missiles with a greater range than the Storm Shadow. Moreover, military experts say that they have a very high penetrating ability to hit protected command posts and bunkers," Zolotarev said.
"But how many of these Tauruses can Germany provide? If they only have 600 produced, I think. Some of them are not combat-ready.
Even if they transfer 200-300, 12 Russian missiles wouldn't bring Ukraine to its knees. And 200 Tauruses certainly won't be the miracle weapon that turns the tide of the war ," he added.
