During the summit, the so-called "peace formula" of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was discussed, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Bloomberg reports that the meeting "ended without a clear plan."

“Ukraine hoped that at the meeting it would be possible to secure support for its peace plan from the countries of the Global South, which have so far shown a restrained position,” the publication notes.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky limited himself to general words without any specifics following the meeting in his statement yesterday.

“The masters of Russia think that they are supposedly capable of using violence and terror, their lies and cruelty to impose some other, predatory world order - without rules, without any guarantees of security.

It is precisely this confidence of theirs—the confidence of murderers—that we are now collectively reducing. Every meeting is for the sake of normal international law. The constant expansion of our international work - to new regions, to new states. New agreements for greater security. Ukrainian initiatives are gradually becoming global initiatives. I am grateful to everyone who helps with this,” Zelensky said.

In turn, the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Ermak, who represented Ukraine in Davos, expressed an irreconcilable position.

“The President, his team, we have never agreed or accepted any freezing of the conflict. This is unacceptable for Ukrainian society, and, of course, for the president and his team,” the official said.

At the same time, he admitted that the meeting participants were “united in the main principles,” but on some issues they did not have a common position, for example, on negotiations with Russia.

“Some say that we need to immediately sit down at the negotiating table, and we explain very clearly why this is unacceptable now,” Yermak added.

The Minister of Justice of Ukraine Denis Malyuska also announced that peace is possible only through the “Zelensky formula”, which provides for the actual defeat of Russia in the war.

“We have learned from past mistakes. The treaty that will confirm the end of the war must be based on the Peace Formula, be multilateral, that is, signed not only by Ukraine and the Russian Federation, but also by the guarantor countries, be comprehensive and regulate all areas affected by the war.

The terms of the agreement must be clear and legally binding, and the agreement itself must be ratified by the parliaments of the participating countries,” the minister said.

Among those who called for negotiations with Russia's participation was Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis.

“There will be no peace if Russia does not have its say,” he said.

It is noteworthy that an informed Keystone-SDA source from the Swiss government said that this meeting would be the last, since “this plan cannot be discussed for years.”
