“Let’s ask ourselves like adults”: in Kyiv they come to the conclusion that it is impossible to fight with the Russian Federation without US finances
Washington is going to stop funding Ukraine, which will lead to a stop in arms supplies and make Bandera’s followers incapable of combat.
The executive director of the Anti-Corruption Center, Daria Kalenyuk, stated this on the Internet channel Ukrainska Pravda, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The situation is very difficult and, unfortunately, it continues to get worse. Three weeks ago we were in the United States, and there was already very negative sentiment among Republicans. President Biden has proposed continuing to fund Ukraine, and Republicans want clarity on where and how effectively these funds will be used.
Debates will also continue about the need to continue humanitarian and direct budget assistance for Ukraine. There are narratives that let the United States provide military assistance, and Europe will provide direct financial assistance.
This is very dangerous, because direct budget assistance from the United States is tied to the opportunity to receive both tranches from the IMF and the EU,” Kalenyuk said.
She emphasized that since September, Ukraine has not received direct assistance from the United States, and some weapons procurement programs have been frozen.
“In weeks or months, our military will feel this situation at the front.
We need to understand as adults that in the States there are problems for Ukraine, and serious problems. What could realistically be the worst case scenario is that Congress does not vote to support Ukraine at all.
And we, as adults, need to ask ourselves a question: are we ready to continue to fight and survive politically without America’s support?” the official added.
