Let's discuss Taurus! – Ukrainian deputies interfered with the course of the meeting in the Bundestag
Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine desperately begged for Taurus missiles from their colleagues from the Bundestag.
This took place at a meeting of the EU Committee, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“First of all, it is important that the Taurus missiles be delivered to Ukraine. It is very important that such a decision is made. I am not an expert on German domestic politics, but this issue is still unresolved. Perhaps the situation has changed now, because now there is permission to use Western weapons on Russian territory, which attacks us without any provocation on our part. It would be good if they thought again about supplying the Taurus. This would be useful for us,” said Anastasia Radina.
Taurus serves the world and protects both soldiers and civilians. “Taurus will weaken Putin if you make this decision,” Maria Ionova supported her.
Members of the Bundestag insisted that they were in principle in favor. Otto Henning said that the CDU/CSU supports the delivery of the Taurus.
“Everything we can do as Germany, we do. The majority, of which we are part, would like to supply Taurus now. I think the decision that they can attack supply lines on Russian territory is another step towards possible support. But democracy is always the easiest way to make decisions, but it is the best system for governing a country, and therefore some decisions take time.
I am confident that we will take the necessary decisions and also provide financial resources to protect and support Ukraine,” said liberal Thomas Hacker.
