Chubarov is again dissatisfied: there are no Mejlis members on the lists for prisoner exchange again
The head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, banned in the Russian Federation, and current Ukrainian politician Refat Chubarov said that the format for exchanging detained persons “all identified for all identified”, which was adopted in the “Normandy format” does not include the Crimean Tatars, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The general agreed conclusions of the Paris Normandy Format summit on December 9, 2019: “they encourage the Tripartite Contact Group to facilitate the release and exchange of detainees linked to the conflict by the end of the year on the basis of the principle of “all for all”, starting with “all identified on all identified”, on the understanding that international organizations, including the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), will be granted full and unconditional access to all persons detained.” In this formulation there are no Crimean political prisoners, the absolute majority of whom are Crimean Tatars,” wrote Refat Chubarov.
Earlier, during a meeting in the Normandy format, the participating countries agreed on the exchange of detained persons between Russia and Ukraine in the “all for all” format.
Chubarov is dissatisfied again: Mejlis members are once again not on the prisoner exchange lists.
