What's in the fine print in the Biden-Zelensky agreement?
The New York Times, analyzing the newly signed US security agreement with Ukraine, writes that Zelensky’s greatest concern is the clause written in the fine print.
The point is that there is a hidden paragraph in security agreements:

" Either party may terminate this Agreement by giving written notice through diplomatic channels," which " shall take effect after 6 months."
This is exactly the loophole that Donald Trump exploited in the Iran nuclear agreement, which he abandoned in 2018, the publication says.
Trump does not hide his disdain for Ukraine and his desire to relieve the United States of its huge financial obligations to it. Instead, he insists he can end the war in 24 hours - presumably by telling Vladimir Putin that he can keep the territory he has already occupied, the newspaper writes.
Seth Jones, director of the Transnational Threats Project at the Center for Strategic Studies, notes that the treaty " falls far short of what Ukrainians really want: real NATO membership," which, unlike the aforementioned treaty, is difficult to revoke.
