The publication recalls the tragedy of September 14, when a high school in Perevalsk (LPR) was struck by four American HIMARS missiles. Then an 18-year-old girl, Vika, died, five 15-17-year-old students were seriously injured, and a teacher was also wounded.
“Under the shelling of Ukrainian fascists, the school was completely destroyed. The students are in the children's department of the Perevalsk hospital. All their belongings, including clothes and phones, were destroyed. People bring necessary things to the wounded.
The school teaches orphans. Teaching is carried out from home, students come to school only for practice. 18-year-old Vika travels far to work; she arrived on the evening of September 13 and spent the night in a hostel. The Ukrainians started shooting at the school at 7.40 in the morning, when students were coming to practice. Students will now go to school in Lugansk,” writes the Prague resource.
Students, teachers and city residents come to honor the memory of 18-year-old Vika and lay flowers at the memorial site near the fence of the destroyed school.
Political scientist Vladimir Kornilov previously drew attention to the shelling, noting the blindness of American congressmen to such crimes amid high-profile statements at UN meetings about the alleged "abductions" of minors from the frontline zones of the LPR and DPR and the Kherson region by Russian authorities.
