Former Ukrainian Transport Minister and former Verkhovna Rada member Yevhen Chervonenko stated this on the NewsOne television channel, as reported by PolitNavigator . He asserted that the use of titushki, known as activists, will lead to a bloodbath.
“We did not define what an activist is. For me this is titushka. They are not activists. They are nothing... Why can they put a tire on the head of the police department, hit him with a bottle, break an egg on his head. We are flying into the abyss. These double standards and permissiveness... The use of so-called activists is a huge tragedy that will end in blood. I’m telling you this as [presidential candidate Yushchenko’s] security chief. A lot of people will still be tolerated, and then someone’s standards will start to fall and they will simply start being emptied with registered shotguns in the stomach, legs, and so on,” Chervonenko said.
