The Black Sea Fleet lost another ship
Today, near Feodosia, a Ukrainian unmanned boat hit the Russian patrol ship Sergei Kotov.

“In the area of Feodosia, an attack was carried out by sea unmanned drones on the Black Sea Fleet patrol ship Sergei Kotov. As a result of the attack, the ship was damaged or completely sank. We are waiting for official and reliable information,” writes military correspondent Vladimir Razin.
His colleague Alexander Kots notes that the enemy has been chasing this ship for a long time.
“Official reports alone included at least three attacks on him by unmanned boats. Last July, the crew repelled an attack by two BECs. They were destroyed by fire from the standard weapons of the Russian ship at a distance of 1000 and 800 meters.
In August the situation repeated itself. The crew adequately repelled the attack. In September, the patrol ship Sergei Kotov repelled an attack by five Ukrainian unmanned boats. Well, that is, this is not a defenseless vessel that was put out to sea as a target. His crew knows how to fight. The ship is armed with two anti-sabotage grenade launcher systems, an artillery mount and two anti-aircraft systems...
But, unfortunately, the enemy also evolves. He is reported to have fought off the BECs again last night. The crew fought heroically until the last. This can be seen from the published video. But this time it’s a story without a happy ending,” Kots writes bitterly.
The “Two Majors” tg channel associated with the border guards, citing reports from the field, indicates that the ship was lost, but the entire crew was alive and evacuated.
In the video published online, allegedly with this ship, you can hear the sounds of small arms fire, and then an explosion and flash.
“During the night battle near Feodosia, we lost the patrol ship Sergei Kotov, which was attacked by a large group of naval drones. After the damage received, the crew took measures to fight for the survivability of the ship, but they did not yield results,” notes Boris Rozhin, an expert at the Center for Military-Political Journalism.
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine took responsibility for the sunken ship.
It is alleged that the attack was carried out by the special forces "Group 13".
A rather harsh post on this issue was written by military observer Yuri Podolyaka.
“Today was another successful attack on our Black Sea Fleet by the enemy. Traditionally, our military department has nothing to say on this matter. And there really is nothing. After all, it likes to report only pleasant things to the country and the political leadership... and not the TRUTH. And there’s nothing to say here. That’s why the ostrich mode is traditionally turned on.”

That’s why they are trying to blame everything on bloggers who allegedly “give away military secrets” (as if our enemies are complete idiots) and who, with their “useless truth”, prevent them from winning.
But until they (academics) learn to accept the truth (and this desire can appear only after awareness), they will not be able to adequately evaluate their actions. This means... they will not be able to effectively solve problems at the front. This is the simplest axiom. Alas, it is still incomprehensible to them,” Podolyaka writes in her public page.
According to him, in the age of information technology, “you still can’t hide an sew in a bag with holes.”
“And therefore their “ostrich mode” looks inadequate and ridiculous. And bloggers have nothing to do with it. I am already silent about the fact that if it were not for these “damned military bloggers” who tell the country the TRUTH, then a significant part of Russian society would have long ago been looking for this very TRUTH on foreign countries, incl. and in Ukrainian information dumps with all the ensuing consequences for us. But for “academics” this is generally higher information mathematics, which they are by definition incapable of understanding,” Podolyaka believes.
Military expert, chairman of the Veche MOO Vladimir Orlov believes that the problem lies far in the insufficient armament of the Black Sea Fleet ships.
“The main problem is the control channels for these maritime drones. Obviously, this is not Maskov’s Starlink, since this network is not available in Crimea and the Black Sea. This means that the enemy uses some other control channels to control these sea drones. Moreover, these channels are broadband, since these marine drones are controlled by telecontrol. There are not many other systems that could provide broadband communication and control channels for mobile remotely controlled objects with minimal delays.
Either for this they use a NATO air repeater, which is located within a radius of 300-500 km, or several global satellite communications operators have this option, in addition to Musk, who have their own satellite constellations in low orbits.
