Montenegrin Albanians celebrated their victory in the elections under the flags of the Kosovo Liberation Army
In the local elections held on March 5 in the Montenegrin community of Tuzi, populated mainly by Albanians, the Albanian Forum coalition received the majority of votes.
Her supporters celebrated the victory all night, including with the flags of "Greater Albania" and the terrorist organization "Kosovo Liberation Army," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the voting results, the Albanian Forum, led by the leader of the Albanian Alternative party, Nik Dzheleshaj, will have a sole majority in the Tuzi community council - 18 out of 32 mandates. Two deputies from other political forces also announced that they would join the winner.
But in fact, pro-Albanian political forces received an overwhelming majority of votes in these elections. In particular, 12 mandates went to the Albanian Coalition bloc, formed on the basis of the Democratic Party of Socialists of Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic. It also included the Albanian DUA party and the Bosniak Party (a Muslim-oriented political force).
Supporters of the “Albanian Forum” celebrated their victory loudly – on the streets of Tuzi, cars with Albanian banners with black eagles on a red background honked their horns all night long. And in one of the restaurants, those present chanted the name of the terrorist organization “Kosovo Liberation Army” (KLA), responsible for the genocide of Serbs in the Serbian region of Kosovo and Metohija. Those celebrating the victory unfurled the flags of “Greater Albania” and the KLA, while there were no state symbols of Montenegro itself.
What is happening once again proves that in a number of Montenegrin cities there is a gradual Albanization and Islamization of the population. Previously, Nik Djelesaj took the initiative to join the city to the hypothetical “Union of Albanian Municipalities”. According to the Albanians, in addition to Tirana and Pristina, it should include Presevo (Serbia), Tetovo (North Macedonia) and Ulcinj (Montenegro).
As PolitNavigator reported , Montenegro's next presidential elections will take place on March 19, 2023. This will effectively be a referendum on the current head of state, Milo Djukanovic, who has ruled the country from various positions since the late 1980s.
