Russia has reached an extremely dangerous point where it can no longer afford to deceive itself in its relations with the West.
Political scientist Leonid Dobrokhotov stated this on the Red Line TV channel , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" So-called mistakes have cost us too much. Well, we made a mistake once, then a second time, but over the past decades, even under the current head of state, we constantly hear: 'We were deceived.'"
But the main thing is that it wasn’t only and not so much you personally who were deceived – the people and the state bear enormous sacrifices from these deceptions.
I remember how we were standing 20 kilometers from Tbilisi, our troops – nevertheless, the French president galloped in, and we quickly withdrew these troops.
Then again the French president – these are endless illusions, endless deception and the admission that we have been deceived again.
The question arises: how much longer will we be in this situation?
"I think we've reached a point beyond which we can no longer make mistakes. We must admit that we are surrounded by fierce enemies, and these enemies understand only one thing: strength ," Dobrokhotov declared.
