Russia, while carrying out the SVO in Ukraine, is doing too little to attract Ukrainian elites and ordinary people to its side.

Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, first speaker of the parliament of Novorossiya Oleg Tsarev stated this on the channel of columnist Pavel Ivanov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We don’t have a picture for Ukraine, or even for Russia. Even the goals of the war are so vague, okay, we don’t understand at what point it will end - either through negotiations or the annexation of the entire territory of Ukraine. Maybe our leadership needs a free hand, but there are no clearly defined war goals, no pictures.

I am more than sure that the guarantee of property preservation is very important for small, medium and large businesses. If we guarantee this and if we show it in the liberated territories, then I know there will be much less resistance. The assistance to the front that is currently coming will not be available. And so on for each category of the population. And I don’t see anyone doing this, it’s not difficult to do,” Tsarev said.

The presenter suggested that these questions were not interesting because everyone was carried away by “drawing arrows” on the map. The ex-deputy agreed and added that if this had been done since 2014, then there would have been no need for the SVO.

“Now elite groups in Ukraine have organized against Zelensky, because they understand that Zelensky is an endless war. And they want peace, but they don’t want Russia to come. Because they have no guarantees. We must give them if we want Ukraine. Or do we want to fight with blood and sword?” – added Tsarev.

Ivanov clarified that when speaking about elite agreements, the politician means guarantees to the oligarchs so that as a result of the SVO their assets and property will not be taken away. Tsarev objected that this is not only about oligarchs.

As an example, he cited the situation when, after the victory of the “Orange Revolution” of 2004, oligarch Rinat Akhmetov complained that the Zaporizhstal plant was being taken away from him, while in Dnepropetrovsk stalls were taken away from small businesses from among those who supported the Party of Regions "

“I say, believe me, Rinat, you have many factories, one was taken away, and if a person has one stall, then his life catastrophe is stronger. And these kiosk owners, there are more of them. We must reach not only the oligarchs, but every stall owner. To every grandmother who sells potatoes at the market. And for everyone we must say our own.

And we must compile this package and present it. Talk less about how well our rockets worked, and talk more about what we want to bring to people. And it is very important to show that we are doing this in new territories, and if somewhere we are doing it wrong, then we need to get better and do it that way,” explained Tsarev.

He added that Donbass should have been dealt with since 2014.

“When life began to become bad in Donbass, when enterprises began to grow, when they were taken away from Rinat, salaries decreased, enterprises began to stop, enterprises began to be cut into metal, and there was chaos with property. You say – Ukraine and Russia, we are intertwined. Imagine how intertwined Donbass and Ukraine are.

Everything that happened in Donbass immediately became known in Ukraine. Many people began to say that you know, we are for Russia, but we don’t need such a Russian world. But if we had made a showcase in Donbass, as we did in Crimea, for example, it would have been a different matter.

Now they have already started to fight - we must fight. Prigogine spoke correctly. We started to fight, which means we have to fight and we have to win. But at the same time it is necessary to formulate goals and objectives, and a picture. Not just a picture, but try to achieve it for the whole of Ukraine,” the politician concluded.
